A modded Spotify Car Thing that controls three Google Cast speakers through a Flask server on a Raspberry Pi 2. After profiling it, I cut dial-to-speaker latency from 1.2 seconds to 84 ms.

Bird Feeder Detector
An end-to-end computer vision pipeline. A Raspberry Pi captures motion at a window feeder, a YOLOv8 model trained on the labeled frames identifies 8 species, and a laptop runs detection on the live feed.

Won SimpliSafe's company-wide AI hackathon. A local AI agent reads a Zoom meeting transcript and turns it into Jira updates (comments, subtasks and blocker links) that a person approves before they post.

Won the Verizon Smart Campus Competition. A design for ward-level patient monitoring where edge "Health Twins" flag deteriorating vitals locally, federated learning improves the models without moving patient data, and private 5G slicing keeps alerts flowing when hospital Wi-Fi is congested.
